The Karachi Disability Network is Pakistan’s first specialized platform dedicated to connecting persons with disabilities to meaningful employment. It provides career guidance, vocational training, entrepreneurship resources, and updates on opportunities, creating a space where everyone can grow professionally and independently.

Aligned with UNCRPD Article 27, our work promotes equal employment opportunities and supports persons with disabilities in finding, retaining, and advancing in careers. At the Karachi Disability Network, we recognize that social inclusion is incomplete without the chance to work, gain independence, and contribute to society.

In Pakistan, many individuals with disabilities aspire to work but lack a dedicated portal to explore jobs and professional growth. To bridge this gap, the Karachi Disability Network launched the KDN in collaboration with corporate partners, offering a comprehensive platform where employers across sectors post positions specifically for job seekers with disabilities.

• Awareness sessions at universities and institutions introduced students to the KDN, helping them submit CVs and explore career opportunities.
• Video and photo testimonial sessions were organized for trainees of our skills programs, giving participants a platform to share experiences and inspire others.
• Workshops and engagement sessions connect job seekers directly with potential employers, highlighting career pathways and practical guidance.
